Set Up an Activity Code Revenue Code Override for an Insurance Payer

About

Revenue Codes are added to Activity Codes for Institutional claims. There may be times when an Insurance Payer wants to see an Activity Code with a Revenue Code other than what is set at the Party Type level. This can be done through an override in the Billing Engine.

Activity Code Revenue Code Override by Insurance Payer

1. Navigate to the Master Activity Code List by following the path above.
2. Select an Activity Code.
3. Click the Rev Code Override by Insurance button. The Revenue Code Override By Insurance List is displayed and lists all the Activity Codes that have overrides set for Revenue Code.

1. Click the Ok button.
2. Click the Add button.
3. Select the Activity Code from the Act Code ID drop-down menu.
4. Select the Insurance Payer this override is for from the Insurance drop-down menu.
5. Enter the Revenue Code.
6. Click the Save button.
