The following hardware and device specifications are recommended for Agencies using the NextStep Dispensing Module:
Dispensing (MAT) Server
Dell servers are recommended but not required.
- 4 Core Processor Minimum
- 16GB Ram Minimum; 32GB is recommended
- 500GB Hard Drive Space Minimum; 1TB recommended in a Raid 5/6 Configuration
- Windows Server 2019 or higher
- Microsoft SQL 2016 Express
- The server needs to be connected to a Domain Controller and allow access to a predetermined Shared Folder for Application access
- A full Admin Account for NextStep to install and upgrade the Dispensing Software And Database is required
- 1 Server per physical Dispensing Location
- Antivirus and Backup Software are the responsibility of the Organization and must be installed and maintained by that Organization
