In the Medication and Treatment Schedules and the Medication and Treatment Pass sections of eMAR, icons are displayed next to each Medication or Treatment so you can easily identify the status of the Medication or Treatment. Descriptions of the icons are found below.
Icons and Descriptions
Icon | Description |
| PRN: Displays if a medication is a PRN. PRN medications can’t be reviewed. |
| Medication: Displays if an entry is a non-PRN medication. This icon may be accompanied by the Controlled Substance or Review icons. |
| Controlled Substance: Displays if a medication is a controlled substance. |
| Sliding Scale: Displays only if a medication is a sliding scale. |
| Review: Displays if the medication needs review. |
| Treatment: Displays if the entry is a treatment. |
 | Discontinued: Displays if the medication is discontinued. The medication cannot be passed to the client and is listed for reference purposes only. |
