When setting up Activity Codes within the Billing Engine, if an Activity is billable for a particular Party Type, you need to complete the Activity Code Insurance Form information for the Activity Code. In this window, you will select a Billing Rate Code associated with the Activity Code and Party Type. The Billing Rate Code is a hardcoded list of calculation rules for the number of units and dollar amounts. Below you fill find a table of the most commonly used Billing Rate Codes.

A | Time Based- 15 Minutes (rounded up/down) |
B | Time Based - 15 Minutes (no rounding) |
D | Time Based - 1 Hour (no rounding) |
E | Time Based - 1 Hour (round up to next hour) |
F | Time Based - 1 Minute |
G | Time Based - 1 Hour (round up to next hour at 50 minutes) |
I | Time Based - (0-7 min: 0, 8-24:1, 25-39:2, 40-49:3, 50-60:4) |
J | Half-hour Units (Rounded up at 15 minutes) |
K | Time Based - 15 Minutes (round up at 8 minutes) (qty of 1) |
