Introducing the DSM-5-TR at Next Step Solutions
On Monday February 13, 2023, all NextStep Solutions environments will have their DSM-5 database upgraded to DSM-5-TR.
No downtime is expected. The DSM-5 diagnosis widget may run slowly for 2 minutes while the database is being updated.
The vast majority of codes and descriptions will remain the same. However, many codes will have updated descriptions; and many descriptions will have updated codes.

Overview of Changes
The upgrade to DSM-5-TR will consist of the following:
- New codes and descriptions added for the E, F, G, N, R, T, and Z code sets
- Codes and descriptions updated for the F code set
- No codes were removed
Please note: All existing client diagnoses are still billable, even if the code or description has changed.

The functionality of the diagnosis widget itself will remain unchanged. This update is strictly to modernize our DSM-5 database.
